How To Unlock Crown Tundra Tournament – Galarian Star Tournament
In order to unlock the Galarain Star Tournament, you will have to complete all of the primary content in Crown Tundra first. This means you will have to complete all of the Legendary Clues (The King of Bountiful Harvests, The Legendary Giants, and The Bird Pokemon of Legend), spot all of the footprints and complete all of those objectives.

After completing all of three Legendary Clues and reporting them to Peony (the daughter of the explorer), he will leave base camp and go back to the Max Lair. While heading back to Max Lair, he will leave something on the ground like a Legendary Clue.
Head over to the Max Lair and have a talk with Peony to have a short sequence go on within the Max Lair. This involves something else but instead of dealing with it right now, head back outside from the Max Lair and there you will get a phone call.

When you pick up the call, it will be Leon, asking you to move towards the Wyndon Stadium to meet with him about something very important. Once you reached the Wyndon Stadium, go inside the building to the right of the Pokemon Center, which happens to be the entrance of the stadium.
Now, it is time to go up to the elevator and select Wyndon Stadium from the options and you will find yourself in a new area. Enter the door up top and go up to where Leon is waiting for you and speak with him to begin the Tournament.
