Kill or Free Captured Dane From Attackers?
Once you’ve successfully defeated all of the invaders, Dag will bring a survivor supposedly trying to escape to the river. You can take Randvi’s side and free the captured Dane, or take Dag’s suggestion to kill him. Here’s the difference between both:
Kill Him
If you opt to murder the captive Dane, Randvi will tell you that you made a mistake. Because she could have sent a spy to track him down and discover more about his origins. Dag, on the other hand, will be pleased with your selection.
Free Him
Randvi will be pleased with your decision. But Dag will be furious and will kill Dane, claiming that Sigurd would have done the same. Eivor and Dag will have a disagreement, and their relationship will become more complicated.
