Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai are launching an online recruitment drive to hire close to 200 people in Production & Quality Control. During the pandemic phase Ubisoft India Studios has tailored a unique employee experience for enthusiastic and passionate gamers by offering them an e-recruitment, e-onboarding, and WFH experience as they continue to hire during this phase.
Ubisoft currently has more than 1,300 employees in India working across production, quality control, and business support teams. Ubisoft Pune, the company’s pioneer studio in India, was established in 2008 and has contributed to many of Ubisoft’s biggest successes, including Far Cry 5, Steep, Just Dance 2019, and Just Dance Now. Ubisoft Mumbai, which opened in 2018 and further strengthened the company’s presence in the country, has collaborated on titles including the recently released Hyper Scape and the highly anticipated Watch Dogs Legion. With the recent announcement of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, the studio has achieved a new milestone.

WHAT PROFILES ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
ART:
In this field, we generally recruit holders of graduate degrees from an art school. We are looking for specialized profiles in graphics and animation and mastering software 3ds Max, Motion Builder. Future graphic designers specializing in decor, lights, or special effects are particularly needed in our industry. This year, we will be focusing mainly on the following expertise- Concept and Lead Artists, Technical Artists, Cinematics.
DESIGN:
As for the design professions, we do not have any diploma or level of study requirements. However, we look for candidates who have generally received training in a school specialized in video games. What prevails in the choice of the collaborator is above all his creativity. You also need to have a good gaming culture. We will be focusing on India in the roles of Cinematics Designer, Level Designers.
PROGRAMMING:
In the field of programming, we welcome postgraduate from engineering schools or universities but also experimented people through the market, we focus on Tech skills. Producers, Game programmers, online GPP, Unity & Graphic Programmers are our targets. These profiles will go under our Technical assessments with C ++ advanced and C Sharp in particular.
R&D, AUTOMATION IN PRODUCTION & QUALITY CONTROL
In QC and Production, we will also reinforce new competencies in Automation, AI skillsets, which will create positions of Data Scientist, Product Development, R&D engineers in Quality control. As testing in Video Games becomes more and more automated, we are looking for strong profiles, Game and Lead Engineers with soft and tech competencies in Engineering, Automation, and Management.
