Ubisoft leaked that their new Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15, 2024. Prior to this, on May 13th in a tweet, they confirmed that the codename Red is actually going to be Shadows. The game’s official cinematic world premiere trailer is set for May 15, 2024. That’s where this leak comes from since they accidentally added the release date in the video’s description.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Release Date
Several Twitter accounts have posted screenshots of the previous description where you can see AC Shadows seems to be set to release on November 15, 2024. You can check out this tweet by @Andreaalex2001 here.
There are multiple reasons why this should be true, one of them being that it comes straight from the game’s Publishers themselves. If that wasn’t enough AC games usually release around October and November, the best example of this is Assassin’s Creed Mirage which was released last year on 5th October. Some other such cases include:
- AC Valhalla: November 10, 2020
- AC Odyssey: October 5, 2018
- AC Origins: October 27, 2017
While this date may have officially leaked, since they haven’t officially confirmed it yet, they can always change it. This had happened with AC Mirage previously, where the game originally was meant to release on October 12th, 2023 but got pre-poned by a week. So they can always push the date further or release it earlier.
The game is set to launch on PC and the next-gen consoles that is PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Surprisingly, it also will be released on the PS4 but not Xbox One. Check out this tweet by @the_marmolade here, this shows the metadata of the game’s Store listing. Aside from that, Nintendo Switch too won’t be getting Shadows.
That’s all for the leaks around Assassin’s Creed Shadows release date and platforms. If you are a fan of these games then you might also be excited to see the return of fear system in AC Hexe. For more such News coverage, check out our dedicated section here at Gamer Tweak.
