One of the crafting materials you will need to find in Infinity Nikki is Tricky Patches. It can be used to craft clothes or items and it’s described in-game as a patch obtained from purifying a Spear Sack. You require lots to craft a Body Spray during the ‘Purify! The Scent in the Cavern’ quest, and to save your time, here’s where exactly you can farm this item and craft Traveler’s Musings.
Where to Find Tricky Patches in Infinity Nikki
If you’re at Florawish, go up north and look for Tricky Patches in the forest. Apart from this location, go south from Memorial Mountains and you should be able to find Spear Sack enemies that will drop this crafting material.
They are usually found in a group with other Esselings, and be careful because Spear Sack Esselings can go underground and pop out to attack you.
Apart from the aforementioned locations, you may also find them in Stoneville (next to Cicchetto Manor), Wishing Woods, and Abandoned District in Miraland. Since the drop rate of this material is low, be sure to check out the area surrounding Nonoy’s secret base for some more enemies.
When you purify a Spear Sack with the Wind of Purity’s outfit ability, a Tricky Patch will be obtained as a reward in Infinity Nikki. Note that these Spear Sack enemies respawn so you can farm them for crafting materials. They will respawn when the game’s servers reset at 4:00 am daily.

Since you may already have the Traveler’s Musings sketch, and have all the required materials, you can craft the Whim Fragrance and talk to Eremita to complete the quest.
