How To Use Magic
The first thing you should do is unlock magic spells as well as abilities. Check your character’s Training Menu for this. The spells that will be shown will be based on your characters. So if you have Angela or Charlotte, who are characters that mainly use Magic, you will see more options compared to others.
Throughout the game, you will encounter 8 elementals who will provide you magic as per their element. Using them will give you significant help in your battles. You will find them in the main game so keep progressing in the story and find them.
More spells can also be accessible when you change a class and they will be based on your choice of Light or Dark path. Sometimes, you won’t have magic spells from the very beginning, but don’t worry, as you keep playing you will unlock them.
How to Use Magic During Fights in Trials of Mana Remake
To use magical spells during the battle, simply press down on the d-pad. This will open up the Moves menu (a wheel) wherein you can choose the magic spell you want your character to use. The MP gauge needs to be filled enough for you to use magical spells.
