Thanks to the Indigo Disk expansion of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, we can now catch 24 Starter Pokemon from previous generations. Yes, you heard that absolutely right. The list includes names like Charmander, Bulbasaur, and other classics from our childhood. Treecko is one such Starter Pokemon appearing in the game that most trainers are trying to catch. However, things are not as simple as catching it would require you to spend 3000 BP.
Don’t fret as this guide here has all the information you need. So if you are up for catching a Treecko in Pokemon Indigo Disk, this is the right place to get started.
How to Catch a Treecko in Pokemon SV Indigo Disk
The Indigo Disk DLC has four Biomes wherein all the 24 Starter Pokemon are found. To find a Treecko, you must look for it in the Canyon Biome. But wait, before you hop onto your Mount and go to the Canyon Biome, there is something important you need to do. And that is donating 3000 Biome to the Terrarium Club.
This happens pretty early in the game when you visit the Blueberry Academy with Carmine. Once you reach there, you will eventually enter the League’s Club Room and interact with a Computer. That computer is used to donate BPs to several Clubs in the Academy like the Arts Club, Music Club, etc. So after paying an introductory 3000 BP to the Baseball Club (as part of the story), you can make donations to any club of your choice.
There, you need to find and donate 3000 BP to a Terrarium in the Support Board. You will know it is the right club if the description says “Boost biodiversity in the Canyon Biome.” After paying the fee, the Treecko will spawn in the Canyon Biome in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC.
Treecko’s Location in Pokemon SV Indigo Disk
After contributing 3000 BP to the Terrarium Club, you must head over to the Canyon Biome. To find and catch the Treecko, go to the southern part of the map, on the right side of the Canyon Plaza (refer to the image above). There, you will find the Treecko in the grass. Be prepared as you will have to defeat it in a fight before throwing your Pokeball. Just to let you know Treecko is weak against Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, and Ice. This information will come in handy while battling it.
That is everything you have to do to catch the Treecko in Pokeball Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC. For more content like this, be sure to check out our dedicated section for the Pokeball SV Guides on Gamer Tweak.
