CoD MW2: What Is Tier 1 Shipment?

Published Date :

While playing CoD MW2 one of the new modes you can see is the Tier 1 Shipment. This is interesting because it is a separate mode from the Tier 1 mode that already exists in the game. But what exactly new does this mode offer? Keep reading to find out all about what the Tier 1 Shipment mode is in CoD MW2.

What is Tier 1 Shipment in MW2?

cod mw2 tier 1 shipment mode explained

Tier 1 Shipment is a new mode that you can play in MW2. It takes place on Shipment, which is a highly compact map. So the gameplay is really fast-paced. Since this is a small map the team size is 6, so max 12 players can play at the same time. And as per the game’s description, it is a “Fast-paced 6v6 MOSHPIT in Shipment!”.

How is Tier 1 Shipment Different

This mode is different mainly because it is a Tier 1 map. For those new to the series Tier 1 mode is similar to the Hardcore mode of the older CoD games. So in this mode, there will be many changes on the HUD. These include:

  • No compass
  • No ammo count

But that is not all that changes in this mode. This mode also has friendly fire as on. So be it your equipment like grenades, or your weapons, both are capable of damaging and killing your teammates.

Finally, what makes this mode extra difficult or rewarding for many players is the lower health than usual matches. Hence if you play well you will be able to get many kills. But if you are sloppy then the enemy can kill you and get the upper hand.

So if you are bored with playing the regular Multiplayer modes. Or if you are looking to challenge yourself on a small map to see how well you can play, then Tier 1 Shipment is the mode you should go for.

That covers this guide on what the Tier 1 shipment mode is in CoD MW2. If you like playing this game and are looking for more guides on topics like weapons, game modes, and more, then check out our MW2 Wiki.
