According to recent rumors Nintendo would be working on remastering some special chapters of the Super Mario series, but what if it was also developing certain games by porting titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword?
As reported by Wario64, on Amazon UK, the same division of American e-commerce that yesterday leaked Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, a page dedicated to a Nintendo Switch port of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has appeared, released on the Nintendo Wii in November 2011.
As you can see in the image at the top of this page, the screenshot sadly has nothing in the way of actual details, including a release date yet to be decided. We should also point out that Skyward Sword has not been confirmed for Nintendo Switch by the Kyoto house at the moment.
Last year Eiji Aonuma, the producer of Zelda, commented on the possibility of remastering Skyward Sword without motion control, but said it was very difficult and almost impossible. “Currently I don’t have plans, but if there is a title that we can incorporate new elements or new features that is perhaps a perfect fit for a remake, then maybe we’ll consider it,” Aonuma said last year.
In January Nintendo renewed many brands, including that of Skyward Sword, but even in this case, such a possibility may not have a meaning. Would you like to see The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword return to Nintendo Switch even if, at the moment, the possibilities are very remote?
