The Division 2’s first post-launch specialization just went live today and it is called the Gunner. The Gunner is basically a minigun that you can have with you, which will give you immense continuous firepower and it has its own skill tree just like the rest of the specializations.
But there are a few drawbacks when it comes to having this beast of a machine, you will no longer be able to use it when in cover and neither will you be able to roll away to cover or sprint with it.
To be fair to the game, the minigun is a massive gun and it helps keep things realistic with so much weight added to you, it is certain that a person will most definitely lose his mobility. It depends on the player if you think is it worth it, sacrificing mobility for a rain of bullets.
The Gunner specialization comes with a brand new version of the Pulse skill which confuses the target and puts them in a confused state, this will work out to your benefits as confused enemies will most likely not fire back at you constantly.
Players who have season pass can immediately get their hands on this specialization while others will need to complete a Special Field Research.
Servers are currently offline but will surely be back up soon and when they do you can get your hands on this new specialization.
