You can reach the Temple of Light by using a mystic gateway. It is located in the Alfheim region and the temple has three legendary chests. Some of these chests are hidden or located in remote places. To reach them you will have to solve a small puzzle. In this guide, I will give you exact steps on how to reach and unlock all three legendary chests in the Temple of Light area.
Temple of Light Chest 1 – Hades Retribution
After entering you will see an elf statue, walk right and hit pink colored hanging lamp on left to unlock the door. Cross the door and continue running until you reach a curve. Swing to the other side, and walk right towards the waterfall. Cross the door behind it and open the door on the left-end corner. You will reach an open area, where between two columns just on the left are two hanging structures.
Use them to swing to the other side, now take a right turn and then turn left. Follow the stairs, until you see a broken wall on the left, that will let you jump down. Walk a few steps and jump again from the left broken wall. Take the first left and you will see the legendary chest.
- Reward: Hades Retribution: A Powerful stab that embeds a fiery bomb, which detonates after a brief delay.
Temple of Light Chest 2 – Hilt of Gram
Follow the location on the image above, you will have to stand in front of the light gate. Look on the left side and you will see an opening to jump along with a wheel mechanism. There is a closed gate right in its front, open it and you will see a region with a chain mechanism and some sort of cage-like structure, the chest is inside this area.
Now first pull the chain and then hit the axe on the pink structure to reflect the axe. Release the chain and call the axe back, the cage will drop revealing the chest. Jump down and grab the reward.
- Reward: Hilt of Gram: Once referred to as “The Dragon’s Bone”, Gram isn’t what it once was, but will fell many more foes before its days are done.
Temple of Light Chest 3 – Rune-Engraved Release
After unlocking rewards from Chest 2, turn around and climb up back on the bridge take the door on the right. There is a Kvasir poem on the left door, it is also one of the collectibles. Open the door and you will see a light bridge at a distance. This means you are going right, look on your left the chest will be visible. The path to reach this chest is via swinging from one platform to another.
Jump down and target the glowing purple crystal and then look on the top right side, for another hooking spot and swing to the structure. You can easily walk toward the third legendary chest in the Temple of Light.
- Reward: Rune-Engraved Release: A simple trinket signifying rebirth.
