To obtain various benefits from the animals you have domesticated, you will need to understand and follow these steps carefully:
Build a Trap
To start this process, you must first make a “Building Workshop.” Once done, interact with it to bring up all the recipes you can craft. From here, you can start building traps.
Focus on crafting Small Traps for animals like young Turkeys, Parrots, or Monkeys. Build Medium Traps to capture animals like Alpacas, Llamas, Jaguars, Capybaras, or Snow Leopards.
Build a Shelter
After crafting the traps, your next step should be building a pen or coop for the animals you are going to capture. Players can build a Turkey Coop for Turkeys and a Capybara Pen for Capybaras.
For Parrots, you will need to craft a Parrot Rack. Once you have built these structures, the taps, and the pens, you can capture the animals you want.
Capturing Animals Using Traps
You must use either the “Small Traps” or the “Medium Traps” you have built according to the animal you want to catch and place them along their route. You must add some food items to lure them into the trap.
Alpacas and Capybaras prefer fruits and pumpkins, while Parrots and Turkeys prefer corn or corn flour. Once you have placed the food item inside the trap, quickly move away from it and hide. Ensure you are not hiding close to the trap because if any of these animals see you, they will escape.
After waiting a while, you can check if any of the animals you want got caught in the trap. Once they are trapped, pick them up, bring them back, and place them in their designated pens. Additionally, it is important to fill their troughs with water and provide them with food regularly.
