Subnautica Below Zero: Glacial Basin Biome

Published Date :

Subnautica: Below Zero has a map that divides the world into various biomes, each with its own collection of sceneries, animals, and flora, as well as lore. One of the game’s biomes is the Glacial Basin. Major details of Samantha Ayou’s plot revolve around this biome. The biome also has a lot of Resources and Points of Interest. So let’s look at Glacial Basin in Subnautica Below Zero.

How to Find Glacial Basin in Subnautica Below Zero?

Subnautica Below Zero Glacial Basin

The Glacial Basin borders the Glacial Bay and Glacial Connection. The Phi Robotics Center will be near you while entering the biome through Glacial Bay. If you use the Glacial Connection path to enter, then you will come to a lake in the biome’s southern region. Here is the list of all resources you can collect from Glacial Basin as Harvesting nodes:

  • Titanium
  • Snowball
  • Snow Stalker Fur
  • Silver Ore
  • Ribbon Plant
  • Quartz
  • Magnetite
  • Frost Vase Plant
  • Fevered Pepper
  • Diamond
  • Copper Ore

The main points of interests in the Glacial Basin are:

  • Phi Robotics Center
  • Parvan’s Bunker
  • Frozen Leviathan
  • Auxiliary Architect Teleporter

The caves hosting the Phi Robotics Center and the Phi Excavation Site are marked by two prominently towering ice mountains, one in the biome’s center and the other in the biome’s northwest. The latter also serves as a marker for Parvan’s Bunker. Throughout the environment, Ore Veins and Snowfox pieces may be found in abundance. The bulk of the game’s Spy Pengling locations are also located in this area. Because the Glacial Basin biome loops, you may walk all the way around it.

A lake with a dock to the south of the biome houses the entrance to the Glacial Connection, one of the two ways into or out of the Glacial Basin, as well as an underwater cave connecting back to the frozen river going to the Phi Robotics Center. The basin’s Pengwings and Penglings may be found in the region surrounding the lake.

That is everything you need to know about Glacial Basin in Subnautica Below Zero. While you are here, check out more of our Subnautica Below Zero Guides.
