After you do that, go back to the same Waypoint and then keep heading straight till you reach a structure you can climb on. You will be able to get the second orb.
Once you collect both of them, you will see that the Maelstrom quest related to the Strand Sources will be completed. On completing the entire quest, you will be rewarded with a Tier 1 Powerful gear.
