It can be used to set up a campfire where Link can cook food and resist cold weather. Moreover, you will be using this skill several times during your playthrough. So, before attempting to start a campfire, you need to collect some items for it. In this guide, we will help you out with collecting all the required items and how to start fire in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Make Fire in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

To start fire in Tears of the Kingdom, you need to collect a Flint, Bundle of Wood, and an Iron or Stony weapon/equipment. Here’s how you can collect all of these prerequisites for setting up a campfire.

  • Flint
    • It can be obtained from any nearby cave, building, or habitat. To be precise, you can find it next to an unused cooking pot.
  • Wood
    • You can get it by cutting down a tree into a wooden log. Further, chop it down to finally get a bundle of wood.
  • Weapon/Equipment
    • Alongside Flint and Wood, you need a stony or iron weapon. Even your Rusty Broadsword will get the job done. Also, you can Fuse a stick and stone to create a hammer.

Once you have these items, head to the Material screen and drop Flint and Wood on the ground. Make sure that both Flint and Wood are close to each other. Now, strike the Flint with an iron or stony weapon to ignite the spark and eventually start a fire or campfire in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Start Fire with a Fused Weapon

Besides using the above methods, you can use weapons to start the fire. Luckily, you can Fuse Fire Fruit on an arrow and then shoot it at the bundle of wood. In addition, you can also Fuse the Zonai Flame Emitter on a Weapon. Once the fusion is done, simply attack with the weapon so that the fire is produced out of it. If you are on a field of grass, then the fire will spread across the field.
