The Thunder Egg can be sold for 100g. If you have Gemologist profession then you will receive up to 130g. Other than this there is no known use for Thunder Egg in Stardew Valley. You can not donate it via golden scrolls to Junimos in the Community Center. It’s not used in any recipes nor as a quest item. As of Stardew Valley’s 1.4.0 Ver released in November 2019, with Thunder Egg you can craft a Shirt with a Sewing Machine.
