Drift Star Wars Squadrons Guide

To drift in Star Wars: Squadrons, you will have to first divert power to your engines by pressing left on the D-Pad. After doing this, you need to press forward on your Left Stick until you reach maximum velocity.

Once you get there, initiate a Boost by pressing L3 and launch your craft at a high speed. Once you reach the place where you want to drift in Star Wars: Squadrons, hold either left or right on your Right Stick. In order to perform a drift, you need to press L3 while holding the right stick either left or right.

If you have managed to do it correctly, you must hear the engines sputter out while you are turning. There is no need to divert power or pull back on the Left Stick. You merely need to hold L3 as long as you are trying to drift.

Drifting in Star Wars: Squadrons is the best trick to get behind enemies and attack their engines. Once you have performed drift, it is likely that you will be attacked by a bunch of enemies, so make sure to use this skill to get behind them before they reach your Star Destroyer. Don’t forget to turn off your engines after performing the drift, or else, you will be exposed.

That’s all you need to know about how to drift in Star Wars: Squadrons. While you are here, be sure to check out other Star Wars: Squadrons guides and tips and tricks articles.
