If you don’t have this amount of money yet, you can check out our guide on how to get rich fast in Grow a Garden for some useful tips and tricks. And once you get the Rare egg, hatch it, and you might just get a Spotted Deer.
What does the Spotted Deer Do?
The Spotted Deer pet provides a 5% chance for berry plants to remain after harvesting. With this passive, you can re-harvest berries for extra money. While it isn’t the best pet in the roster, it can be useful for players trying to complete daily quests that are based on harvesting berries or just to make more Sheckles from the same crop.
Note that the Spotted Deer has a hunger of 2,500, so keep feeding it daily to help it age. As the pet grows older via XP, it will also improve its trait by giving it a shorter cooldown or better chances.
The Spotted Deer is a recolored version of the standard Deer pet, featuring distinctive white spots on its snout and forehead. The Deer is an Uncommon pet that gives a 3% chance for berry plants to stay when harvested, so apart from the visual change, both pets also differ in the effectiveness of the passive ability.
