A new SpongeBob SquarePants game has been revealed titled, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. The game trailer revealed does not show much except for the titular character donning an army helmet. The animation seems true to the children’s classic cartoon.
It will be fun to play as Spongebob and explore Bikini Bottom along with all his friends, Sandy and Patrick to take on the evil Plankton.
THQ Nordic released gave a small brief about the game.
Are you ready, kids? The cult classic is back, faithfully remade in spongetastic splendor! Play as SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy and show the evil Plankton that crime pays even less than Mr. Krabs. Want to save Bikini Bottom from lots of rampant robots? Of course you do! Want to underpants bungee jump? Why wouldn’t you! Want to join forces in a brand new multiplayer mode? The battle is on!
From this, we can pretty much assure that the game will certainly be immersive, and with a multiple choice of characters to select from and the option of multiplayer this game might become an instant classic. A lot of the youth today has grown up with the Spongebob cartoon and this character has global recognition.
Hopefully, we will get to see more of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated in the coming days leading up to E3.
