How To Get Spin Boost In Metroid Dread – How To Use It?

The Spin Boost upgrade grants Samus that much jump height which will help get over tall ledges. In this guide, I will show you how to get the Spin Boost in Metroid Dread.

Mobility is the name of the game for all platformers. You will need to get to places by using your speed, agility, and reflexes. To help you with this, Metroid Dread has mobility augments in the form of Suit upgrades. One such Upgrade is the Spin Boost. Today I will explain how to get the Spin Boost upgrade in Metroid Dread.

How to get Spin Boost in Metroid Dread

Spin Boost is an upgrade that allows you to jump once more, mid-air while performing a Spin Jump. You can use this to get more height. This will allow you to get to higher places. The Spin Boost is an unlockable item located in an Underwater Chamber. To get there, you will need to first be in Ghavoran.

First off, you will need to get to Ghavoran. Once you have reached Ghavoran, you will have to find a big water body on the map. It should be in the central section of Ghavoran. That water body should lead to a morph ball launcher. This should leave you to a Chamber. The Chamber is very deep and can only but scaled with the Spin Boost that lays in the hands of the Statue in the room. Shoot the Gold Orb and you will get the Spin Boost from it.

How To use it?

Now that you have collected the Spin Boost, you will be able to Jump higher, diagonally in any direction. By pressing B, you will be able to use the Spin Boost. You will need to time it right otherwise you may not reach your desired height. If you use it underwater, you will not gain any height from it. Rather it will behave like a weak double jump or a weak dash. This can be worked around if you have the Gravity Suit.

This was how you can get the Spin Boost in Metroid Dread as well as how to use it. Hopefully, this guide helped you in obtaining it. You can also check our guides on Defeating Chozo Soldier Boss and Getting the Grapple Beam in Metroid Dread.
