Like a Dragon: Ishin pushes its players beyond the limit in terms of combat. Besides having Katanas and other Swords in the Arsenal, Ishin has something more to offer you. Luckily, there are a few Special Weapons that you can unlock and equip to clear out hordes of enemies. However, the Special Weapons in Like a Dragon Ishin are not something that is readily available for use. So, what can you do to equip and use them? If the same question is buzzing inside your head as well, then this guide is all you need. Here is everything you should know.

How to Equip Special Weapons in Like a Dragon Ishin

As mentioned above, Special Weapons are not readily available and have a few prerequisites before you could use them. To be precise, you can’t use a Special Weapon unless you have the skill associated with it. For instance, Odachi is a Special Weapon (Sword) in Like a Dragon Ishin. Although, you can equip it only if you have the Knowledge of Odachi Skill.

How to Equip Special Weapons in Like a Dragon Ishin

If you are looking to unlock the Odachi (Special Weapon), then know that it is unlocked at the end of Chapter 1. Other Special Weapons can be obtained as loot by defeating enemies or can be purchased from local vendors.

How to Use Special Weapons

Now, once you have the weapon, place the corresponding skill in the Sphere Grid to unlock it for use. Also, keep in mind that the Special Weapons in Like a Dragon Ishin can be used only in the Brawler Fighting Style. For those who don’t know, there are 4 fighting styles, which are:

  • Swordsman Style
  • Gunman Style
  • Wild Dancer Style
  • Brawler Style
