Space Marine 2 Widescreen (Ultrawide Support)
Unfortunately, there isn’t a definitive, universal widescreen fix for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at this time. However, the good news is that as per the official roadmap shared by the developers on Steam, the ‘Year One Battle Plan’ includes a free update with Ultrawide support in Season 1 (2024). There is no exact release date yet, but thankfully, players won’t have to wait too long to get this option because it’s releasing in September. Until then, if you’ve purchased the game, you will have to play with black bars on the sides.
Apart from ultrawide support, private PVE lobbies and Battle Barge Sparring Arena are two additions that players can expect in September.
Is there a Space Marine 2 Ultrawide Mod?
For players who can’t wait for the feature to be added natively, there’s a mediafire link that’s being shared in the community but download it at your own risk, because there’s a chance of getting banned by Valve Anti-Cheat if you use it for online mode. Since the official version is releasing this month, we highly recommend not using any external mods – instead, go for the version that’s tested by the developers.
