Sony Introduced the Gameplay of Ghost of Tsushima

Published Date :

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions released an eighteen-minute recording of the Ghost of Tsushima gameplay as part of the State of Play show, which featured an exploration of the world, combat system, character customization, photo mode, Japanese dubbing, and Samurai Cinema.

While exploring the world of Ghost of Tsushima, you may notice smoke that indicates that people need your help. And birds circling in the sky will lead you to various points of interest. On Tsushima, there can also be found abandoned buildings with rare resources. Moreover, different foxes will help you find altars. Once you visit a place, you can return to it using a system of quick-moving.

The main character can fight like a samurai and ghost. In the first mode, Jin simply kills enemies in deadly fights. In the second, he fights using deceptive methods, such as distraction, to trap opponents. A protagonist can use his hook to climb a hill and fly over an abyss and use enemy weapons in battle.

The Jin setup includes various items of equipment, including amulets that give bonuses in battle. In addition to these, the protagonist uses technique points to learn and improve skills. And the flowers that grow in the fields can serve as the dye of the hero’s armor.

Photo mode will offer a wide range of possibilities to take a beautiful picture due to the presence of parameters such as color gradation, depth of field, emotion settings, wind speed and direction, and much more.

Finally, the developers talked about how the Japanese sounding and the black-and-white Samurai movie mode can be turned on even before the start of the storyline campaign.

Ghost of Tsushima will be released on July 17 only for the PlayStation 4. As we learned from the video, the game will be really amazing.
