Notably, Smoker is one of the most important things that you should have in your inventory. With the help of it, you can easily cook food items in Minecraft, like a furnace. However, a Smoker takes a very little time as compared to a furnace to cook food items.

  • Furnace
  • Logs or Wood

Note: You are not required to gather any specific wood, you can pick up any of the above-mentioned woods.

How to Make a Smoker in Minecraft

After gathering the above-mentioned ingredients, you need to follow these steps to craft a Smoker in Minecraft.

Open the Crafting Menu

First of all, you will have to open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid. Here’s how this will look like.

Add Items

In the crafting menu, you will have to locate a crafting area, which is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. In order to make a Smoker, you need to place 1 furnace and 4 wood, logs or stripped logs in the 3×3 crafting grid.

As we have mentioned above, there is no specific wood is required to proceed with the procedure. While crafting with wood, you can use any type of wood such as oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia or dark oak. Here’s will be using oak wood.

How to Make a Smoker in Minecraft

While making a Smoker, make sure the furnace and wood blocks are kept the same way as shown in the above picture.

In the first row, you will have to put 1 oak wood in the middle of the box. In the second row, you will have to keep 1 oak wood in the first box, 1 furnace in the second box and 1 oak wood in the third box. In the third row, there must be 1 oak wood in the middle-box. This is the perfect recipe to craft Smoker in Minecraft.

Now, as you have filled the crafting area in the right way, the Smoker will appear in the box to the right.

Move the Smoker to Inventory

Once you are done crafting a Smoker, you will have to move the new item to your inventory. That’s it. Here’s how it will look like.
