CSGO: How To Skip Warmup

Learn how to Skip the Warmup Phase in CSGO from this guide.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, better known as CSGO, is an old Classic FPS game created by Valve. This is the game where most Aim Demons have originated like Shroud, S1mple, Hiko, TenZ, Scream, etc. Practicing in the game allows the player to improve their Skill and rise higher in Rank. But the game has a very limited amount of Practice Modes to help the player. Although, there is a way to set up a Practice Game and it starts by removing the Warmup phase. In this guide, I will show you how to Skip Warmup in CSGO.

How to Skip Warmup in CSGO

The Warmup phase in a game is where all players can move about and skrim for a certain period of time. It is implemented in order to allow the Server to have a full lobby. This can be annoying to deal with as you may want to practice lineups in your Private games and do not want to waste time. As such, you will have to skip the Warmup phase in CSGO & which can be done with the help of commands. You will have to type the following commands:

  • mp_warmup_end

This will end the Warmup in your game. If you want to completely skip the Warmup phase then type the following command.

  • mp_do_warmup_offine 0

This will disable the Warmup phase in your Private games as well as Bot games in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. You can apply these commands in the Command Console. To access the Command Console, you will need to press the ` Key (Tilde Key). By enabling the Developer Mode in your Game Settings, you will be able to access the Console. If you want, you could make a CFG File and paste the commands there. Check out our How To Open A Map guide in CSGO.
