Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, better known as CSGO, is an old Classic FPS game created by Valve. This is the game where most Aim Demons have originated like Shroud, S1mple, Hiko, TenZ, Scream, etc. Shooting is the name of the game but without knowing where to go or where to shoot, it serves no purpose. How to Open a Map in CSGO
There are a few ways you can Open a Map in CSGO. Before we can get to them, you should activate Developer Mode in CSGO. This can be done by going to your Game Settings and searching for Enable Developer Console. Set it to yes & press the “` key” to bring it up. Now here are the steps from the easiest method to the hardest method to Open a map in the game.
Practice with Bots
You can start an Empty Map by playing with Bots. To do this, you will need to click on Play in the Main Menu. From there, click on Official Matchmaking and then Practice with Bots. This will open up a Map Page. on the Top-Right, change the difficulty of the Bots to No Bots. Also at the Bottom-Right of the screen, set the Friends option to Friends need Invites. Now when you click on GO, it will open up an Empty map.
Open Map through Commands
Here is where the Developer Mode comes into play. Get into any Bot game in CSGO. Now open up the Developer Console by pressing the ` Key. in the console, and type the following commands.
- map (Map Type)_(Map Name)
Here map is the command to open a map specified in the brackets. There are types of Maps and they are de, cs, gd, & ar. Type one of the types & then select the map you want. It will open up the map for you. After that, put in the below commands to enhance your Map session.

This should give you a lot of freedom in practicing whatever you want to do in CSGO. If you don’t want to type all of them one at a time, then copy the set of codes in a Text file & save it as a cfg file. Name the file as training and save it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg or wherever you have saved CSGO on your PC. Then open up a map and in the console type exec training. This should execute the training cfg file.
