The long wait for a new Diablo game is finally over. Blizzard’s new Diablo 4 is the latest addition to the long standing franchise and something that players are getting there hands on. There is a certain allure to hacking and slashing your way through dungeons. Sticking to tradition, looting is given much focus in the game. Of the many places and methods you can use to collect loot, the game’s Silent Chests seems to confuse players. Well, not for long as this guide is all you need on Silent Chests and how to open them in Diablo 4.

While playing the game, players can collect loot from various sources. Dungeons, Enemy drops, and Chests are some common ways you can collect loot. A special kind of Chest you can find in the game is the Silent Chest. These are rare Chests that you can find around the world, they can be identified by the golden chest draped over the top.

How to Open Silent Chests in Diablo 4

Silent Chests can be opened with the use of a Whispering Key in Diablo 4. In order to get these special keys you need to head to Purveyor of Curiosities where you can buy them. Purveyor of Curiosities is a shop that can be found in the first city of the game Kyovashad. Since you are at it, open your map and look for an icon of a moneybag. Once you head there, you can check out the numerous items sold over there.

Unfortunately, gold does not work here and you will need Murmuring Obols to trade. You can get earn them as rewards for completing certain world missions. These world events can be identified by the orange circles on your map. Make your way to the location and complete the quest to earn Murmuring Obols. Once done, you can buy the Whispering Keys for 20 Murmuring Obols and then open the Silent Chests that you find.
