Valorant: How To Sign Up For PBE (Play On Test Servers)

Here is how you can sign up for a PBE account in Valorant.

You should sign up for the Valorant PBE if you are looking to try out new features early. Be it new agents, maps, or any upcoming changes, players playing on the PBE test servers get to try them first. But just playing the game daily won’t give you access to PBE rather you’ll have to apply for it. So here is how you can sign up for PBE in Valorant and play on test servers.

How to Sign Up for Valorant PBE (Test Servers)

  1. Go to the Valorant PBE page.
  2. Login to your Valorant Riot account.
  3. Click on the Apply Here button.
  4. This will let you apply for a PBE account. On the next page click on the Download button to get the Valorant PBE client.
  5. Install it on your system.

Now all you need to do is wait for Valorant to recruit you for their PBE Environment. When you apply you should check your mail, Riot will acknowledge your application to become a PBE tester. You will receive another email when you are selected for an invite.

But it is important to know that just signing up isn’t enough, you also need to meet the PBE criteria and get invited to play on the test servers. Also, PBE is only available 1 weekend per patch.

Requirements for Valorant PBE

There are two main requirements for having a chance to get selected for the Valorant PBE:

  • You must be and play in the North America region.
  • Your Live account should have no bans.

Aside from the above requirements things like your Hardware, and your rank can affect your selection. This is based on the type of players Valorant needs for testing these new features.

PBE Login Issues

Despite getting selected there is a chance you might face login issues, here are the two most common things you might face:

  • Platform is Unavailable: This happens when the PBE servers are down or offline.
  • You are unable to patch due to lack of permissions: Either you don’t have or are using the wrong credentials for accessing the PBE test servers. Or it could be that your access to PBE has been revoked and you will have to reapply.
