These Shines can be found pretty much everywhere and while collecting a handful is easy enough, you won’t be able to finish the game until you collect at least 50.
Luckily there are about 120 Shrines in the game and this makes collecting 50 out of those sound easy until you discover how vast Super Mario Sunshine actually is.
You will find 11 Shines in each world, and 8 of those will be in episodes and you also get the chance to collect a 100 coin shine sprite along with 2 secret shines.
