Schedule 1 Pawn Shop Not Working? Here’s Why Mick Might Be Missing

Published Date :

If you’re playing Schedule 1 and suddenly notice the pawn shop not working, you’re not alone. Many players have run into an issue where the pawn shop guy, Mick, is missing in Schedule 1 and it can be quite frustrating. Whether you’re trying to offload items or earn some quick cash, Mick’s disappearance is thankfully fixable.

Why is the Pawn Shop Guy Not There in Schedule 1?

There are a few common reasons why Mick isn’t showing up:

  1. You’re Wanted by the Police
If you’ve drawn too much heat, Mick might lay low to avoid trouble himself. As a known associate, he’ll temporarily vanish until things cool off. Stay out of sight for a few in-game days. Once your heat level drops, the shop should be back to normal.
  2. Mick is one of your Dealers
Players who assign Mick as a dealer may find the shop unattended. He can’t be in two places at once—if he’s out dealing, he won’t be behind the counter. Remove him from the list, go to sleep and come back the next day. He should (ideally) be present there now.
  3. It’s a Glitch or Bug
Sometimes the issue is technical. Some NPCs in Schedule 1 may fail to spawn correctly due to minor bugs or corrupted game files. Sometimes a simple reload of your save file will refresh NPC positions. So, save the game, exit, reload the game and check again.
  4. Verify Steam File Integrity: If that doesn’t work, verify your game file integrity on Steam and hopefully, Mick comes back after that.
    • Restart your PC and launch Steam.
    • Right-click the game in your Library.
    • From the drop-down menu, click on Properties.
    • Select the Installed Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files button.
    • Wait for the process to be over and then relaunch the game.

Keep in mind that the shop is open between 6am to 6pm and he does not work on Saturdays and Sundays.
