In the coming year, the action role-playing game Scarlet Nexus will be released for the PS5, among others. As can be seen from the current product description, the title will allow a free upgrade to the PS5 version.
With Scarlet Nexus the Japanese publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment announced a new brand of the role-playing game for consoles and PC a few months ago. The new title is being created at the in-house Bandai Namco Studios and is being released for the two new generation consoles, among others.
After the question arose in the past few weeks whether it would be possible to upgrade the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version to the respective next-generation version at no additional cost, the free PS5 upgrade of Scarlet Nexus was confirmed as part of a product entry in a store.
The free upgrade applies to both the retail version of Scarlet Nexus and the digital version of the role-playing game. It is currently still unclear whether the option will be offered to transfer one’s save game files from the PS4 to the PS5. Should Bandai Namco Entertainment provide clarity in this regard, we will of course bring you up to date information immediately.
Finally, today we can present to you the official box art of Scarlet Nexus. The new role-playing game from Bandai Namco Entertainment will be released in the coming year for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X and will tell a story in which Takumi Miyajima (“Tales of”) contributed.
On the two next-generation consoles of Xbox Series X and PS5, the developers at Bandai Namco Studios are aiming for a display in 4K resolution and 60 FPS.
