Santa’s Miracle Rod is a special fishing rod released during the annual Fischmas event 2025 in Fisch. Unlike standard rods that can be purchased or unlocked through regular progression, this rod is earned by completing a seasonal questline connected to Santa.
Since this rod is designed around the holiday theme, it includes exclusive passives that cannot be found on most regular fishing rods. Plus, it is also considered to be a collectible item because of its availability for a limited time. Here’s how you can get it in your inventory.
How to Get Santa’s Miracle Rod
To unlock Santa’s Miracle Rod, players must complete the full Fischmas questline associated with Santa. The process involves multiple steps where Santa requests fish that can be caught across different areas of the game.
Here’s how the quest progression happens:

Head to the Northstar Station via the Magical train in Moosewood. Cross the Freezing waters with a glider, get to Glacial Ridge, use the zipline to get to Northstar Castle > Northstar Village > Santa’s Workshop.
Complete the Elves’ quests right there.
Locating Santa who is first found in the Cryogenic Canal location in the Northen Expedition island. Head to these coordinates to find him: 20421, 403, 5581. You’ll need your Advanced oxygen tank and winter cloak to successfully complete this section.
Bring Santa back to the Toy Factory. Then begin the next set of quests.
- Catching Fish such as Gingerbread Man and Glass of Eggnog (use Fisch radar in the Fischmas event area to catch them).
- Catching 3 of Santa’s Presents – use a Magnet rod and look for the “Present” area using the Fisch Radar in the Fischmas event area.
- Getting Santa Hot Cocoa, however, there’s no abundance spot so it is based on luck.
- Delivering presents to snowmen at Glacial Ridge and trading presents with other players.
After all that effort, when you finish the questline given by Santa, you will receive the “Santa’s Miracle Rod” reward in Fisch.
Santa’s Miracle Rod Stats Overview

Santa’s Miracle Rod provides a balanced stat profile that favors luck and fishing speed. These attributes make it valuable for players aiming to catch rare or mutated fish.
- Lure Speed: 125% – High lure speed, allowing faster fish attraction
- Luck: 125% – Strong luck stat, improving the chances of rare catches
- Control: 0.25 – Moderate control, making it manageable for most players
- Resilience: 25% – Lower resilience compared to some late-game rods
- Plus, it has an Unlimited weight capacity, allowing it to handle any fish size
While the rod is powerful, its lower resilience means it benefits greatly from enchantments that improve control such as Controlled (+0.15 Control), Herculean (+0.2 Control) and Unbreakable (+0.1 Control).
Unique Passive Effects
What truly separates Santa’s Miracle Rod from other fishing rods is its set of exclusive passives tied to the Fischmas event. These passives include:
- A chance to trigger the Santa mutation while fishing: 20% chance (8.5x)
- A chance to activate natural Fischmas mutations – 10% chance to obtain one of four mutations:
- Gingerbread (5x)
- Peppermint (5x)
- Frostbitten (9x)
- Permafrost (10x)
- A chance for caught fish to be gifted to another player on the same server
- It also provides a 10% chance to gift the caught fish to all other players in the server but note that it will not have a mutation and the size will not be fixed.
- There’s more – while fishing, you will see gifts falling across the fishing bar and when you catch them, you will get +10% progress, which is great.
Is Santa’s Miracle Rod Worth Using After Fischmas?
Even after the Fischmas event ends, Santa’s Miracle Rod remains a valuable tool. Its luck-focused stats and unique passive effects will still work well during regular gameplay. Because the rod is no longer obtainable once the event ends, it also gives you bragging rights!
