How to Salvage Relics in Honkai Star Rail
To salvage Relics in Honkai Star Rail, you will first need to:
- Open the Relics page from the Menu.
- Now, you will see a list of all Relics and the “Salvage” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Next, pick all the Relics that you want to discard and press the “Salvage” button.
Those are pretty much all the steps you’ll have to take to salvage your Relics. After clicking the button, you will immediately get Relic level-up materials in exchange. However, the materials you get are highly dependent on the rarity of the Salvaged Relic. Here are the level-up materials you will receive based on rarity:
- 2-Star Relic – 3x three Lost Lightdust
- 3-Star Relic – 1x Lost Gold Fragments
- 4-Star Relic – 2x Lost Gold Fragments
Level-up materials are actually very resourceful in Honkai. Each Lost Lightdust will give you 100 EXP. While Lost Gold Fragments and Lost Crystal will give you 500 and 1000 EXP respectively.

We already mentioned the level-up materials for 2-star, 3-star, and 4-star. 5-star Relics on the other hand will give you 10 Relic Remains. After reaching Equilibrium Level 3, you will unlock a new feature called Omni Synthesizer. This option will help you make Custom Relics in Honkai Star Rail.
