Learn how to Salvage a Gear or any other Item in Diablo 4.

Having an unlimited amount of Gear or any other item? Well, salvaging it would be a good option to free up space. While exploring regions, you will get the opportunity to loot an endless amount of items and send them to your inventory. Thankfully, we can Salvage such items to get rid of them for our own benefit. Further, the item or gear you want to Salvage in Diablo 4 can be of any rarity. That being said, here’s how you can get the job done.

How to Salvage Gear or any other Item in Diablo 4

In order to Salvage any item in Diablo 4, you need to visit a Blacksmith. The earliest Blacksmith that you will come across shows up after completing the prologue missions. You can find him in the Kyovashad region of Fractured Peaks. You can head over to the map and click on the Anvil icon to reach the Blacksmith easily. The one we are talking about here is Zivek the Blacksmith.

Upon interacting with Zivek, or any other Blacksmith, a new window will show up. Wherein, you need to click on the hammer icon to enter the Salvage menu. From there, you can select any piece of Gear to Salvage. Moreover, you can also click on options like Common, Magic, and Rare to Salvage the item of the respective rarity in Diablo 4.

Also, you can mark multiple items as Junk in your Inventory before interacting with the Blacksmith. Once you interact with him, you can click on Salvage all Junk Items to clear the marked items.

After that, once an Item is Salvaged in Diablo 4, it gets converted into Crafting Materials. Additionally, you can also see that their appearance gets unlocked in the Wardrobe.
