How To Turn Off Roll Indicator In Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels

Published Date :

I am absolutely loving the Hot Wheels DLC in Forza Horizon 5. it’s perfectly engaging, the mechanics are awesome and the world is stunning to look at. But by default, you will see a Roll indicator at the center of the screen which can be distracting and if you wish to turn it off, there’s one option you need to toggle off.

How to Disable Roll Indicator in Hot Wheels Forza Horizon 5

Players who wish to turn off the white and yellow lines at the center of the screen (i.e. the Roll Indicator) can follow these steps:

  • Pause the game and switch to the Campaign tab using LB on the controller.
  • Choose Settings.

  • Under Settings, scroll to Accessibility.
  • Scroll downwards until you see Hot Wheels Roll indicator and turn it off.
  • Whenever you wish to get it again, follow the same steps and toggle it back on.

Why is the Roll Indicator there?

The roll indicator is present to show your car rotation while in the Hot Wheels park. This means you can adjust your car better especially when you are in a loop with the help of this artificial horizon icon. If you have played a flight simulator, this feature will definitely remind you of your flights.

Many are finding it useful but turning it off due to how big and distracting it is. Some players are suggesting that a transparency slider be added while some suggest that it be placed somewhere else on the screen and not right in the middle.

Let’s wait and watch if that changes in any upcoming patch but until then, you can turn off the HUD element completely. In my experience, it has not hampered my gameplay.
