How To Find Rime Worn Crystal In Genshin Impact

Published Date :

Rime Worn Crystal in Genshin Impact is an item that you need in order to complete Act 1 challenges of the event. When the event ends on January 5, 2021, this material will vanish as well so make sure to get it quickly. In this guide, we will explain how to get Rime Worn Crystals in Genshin Impact.

How to Get Rime Worn Crystals in Genshin Impact?

You can obtain Rime Worn Crystals if you have completed the Festering Destire quest after which Dragonspine enemies will drop them. From these enemies you can obtain Rime Worn Crystals as well as Rime Worn Fragments.

How to Farm Rime Worn Crystals?

You can easily farm Rime Worn Crystals by defeating a lot of enemies you come across in Dragonspine. Make sure to not spend time looking for enemies in the Mondstadt or Liyue region if you are specifically looking for this new material.

Which enemies drop Rime Worn Crystals?

There are certain enemies that will drop these Crystals:

  • Ruin Grader
  • Frostarm Lawachurl
  • Ice Shieldwall Mitachurl
  • Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage
  • Pyro Abyss Mage

The drops are random and rare so it is not guaranteed that you will get these Crystals every time. Increase your chances by beating a lot of enemies and you can easily farm Rime Worn Crystal in Genshin Impact. The description does mention that the Crystals are dropped under special circumstances. What are those? It could be weather condition related, specific location related or the enemy needs to be special (bigger foes).

It seems that killing enemies during a Snowstorm is a special condition but that also means you have to ensure that your character doesn’t die due to the Sheer Cold effect. If the blue bar of ‘Sheer Cold’ goes full, you will start losing your health and will eventually die.

To counter that, you have to be prepared. Try crafting an anti-freezing item like Goulash which needs Chilled Meat, have a Pyro character in the squad or use the Warming Bottle. You have the level up the Frostbearing tree to do the latter. Apart from these, there are many more ways to stay warm in the game, fortunately.

That’s everything you need to know about where to find and farm Rime Worn Crystal in Genshin Impact. You can use them to get some event rewards in exchange.
