Fortnite Refer A Friend – How to Invite Friends?
Follow these steps to take part in the Refer A Friend program that runs from July 19, 2022, at 5 AM ET to January 10, 2023, at 11:59 ET. Registered users have time until February 19 11:59 PM ET to complete their tasks.
- Visit the Refer a Friend website and sign up with your Epic account.
- Invite up to 5 eligible friends through the site.
- Complete in-game tasks together and get rewards. The final reward is the new Xander outfit.
How to Unlock the Xander Outfit?
To get this rare outfit, referrers and referees must level up their Fortnite accounts by 60 career levels.
How to Earn Points in Refer a Friend?
Here’s how you can earn point in this program.
- Play a Fortnite match together.
- Complete challenges.
- Earn eliminations in Battle Royale and/or Zero Build.
- Level up your Fortnite account.
As soon as the targets are hit, you will get the relevant reward in-game.

- Back Bling
- Pickaxe
- Xander Outfit
Things to Do before Starting
- Only the referrer has to register on the program’s site. But if you are a referee, you can still do so if you wish to keep track of your progress.
- Note that the referrer can invite friends who must have played less than two hours of a Fortnite Battle Royale or Zero Build playlist (i.e., Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squads) within the past 30 days. Only then you can participate in this.
- Keep in mind that if you are participating as a referrer, you won’t be able to later participate as a referee (and vice versa), so choose your role wisely.
- Make sure you and the friends you want to play with are also friends in game.
