How to Get Past Red Leaf Vines in God of War Ragnarok
Although their in-game name is Heavy Vines, it is easier to call them Red Leaf Vines. While in the story, you will come across this and won’t find a way to move it. Since it blocks an important path up ahead, you will need to get rid of it soon. However, you won’t be able to get clear of them until Kratos and Freya do not get back on the same page.
While you look to get past the Red Leaf Vines in God of War Ragnarok, continue with the story and defeat Nidhogg in Vanaheim. Once you make peace with Freya and she joins your team, you will be able to destroy the next Red Leaf Vines that you come across.
With the help of Freya, you will be able to fire one of the Sigil Arrows by aiming with L2 and then pressing Square. Once the Sigil shows up on the Vines, use the Blades of Chaos and aim them at the Vines. Now all you have to do is press R2 and perform a Blazing Surge that will burn down the vines and clear a path. Freya will provide Atreus with some Sigil Arrows so don’t worry if you are not around her and encounter another set of Heavy Vines.
