Artworks are the items that can be purchased for either decorating your island or donating to the museum. These artworks are inspired by real-life art and include some famous paintings and statues. These are sold by Redd, a cunning fox who can even sell you a fake version of the artwork. Players might miss the minor details and buy a fake copy of Statues hence this guide will help you to identify Real vs Fake Statues in Animal Crossing New Horizons (ACNH).

How does buying Art Pieces work?
Jolly Redd sells the artwork in the game. He will randomly show up on your island in his Treasure Trawler Ship. He carries a maximum of 4 art pieces with him and sometimes he has no art pieces. You can purchase only one piece a day from him for 4,980 Bells. But be careful as he also sells forgery artworks too. You can use these artworks to decorate your island or you can donate them to the museum. Donating these artworks to the museum will help you upgrade this building.
