Since Modern Warfare 2 is available to play in the Campaign mode, players will go through numerous missions. One such mission that you will encounter is Violence & Timing. While in this mission, you will have to reach the front of the convoy in MW2. Since most players are finding it hard to get it done, in this guide we will show you the best way to get it done.
While in the mission you play as Sergeant Gaz and initially provide air cover to Captain Price and Farah Karim as they chase Al-Qatala along the highways. Soon your helicopter will be hit and you will have to hijack a vehicle and reach the front of the convoy while battling the rest.
How to Reach the Front of the Convoy in MW2
Since this mission involves firing as well as driving, it will get difficult for you. However, there is a way to make it easier when compared to trying it normally. We recommend you see the tips and tricks below before going for an attempt on the highways to rescue Kate Laswell.
Here’s how to reach the front of the Convoy in MW2:
- While driving fast is a necessity, make sure to overtake on the right to avoid on rushing vehicles.
- Once you face a vehicle with multiple enemies in it, press the right analog stick and then get as many headshots as possible. If the vehicle has red fuel tanks, make sure you aim for those.
- When you notice a truck with a heavily armored enemy, don’t go for a head on fight. Instead use your vehicle to ram the truck from behind and then fire at him when he gets up.
- Next up in your task to reach the front of the Convoy in MW2 will be a roadblock. If you keep to the left and go off road, you will not be affected. However, any further left and you will go down the cliff. Instead slow your vehicle enough to go through the middle and while you are at it shoot the fuel tanks.
- Once you cross the roadblock, things will get even tough as enemies will be dropping mines on the road. While you outmaneuver these mines, there is still the task of killing them. We recommend you stick to the dirt road on the left while moving forward. Once you are prepared to shoot, make sure there are no incoming mines in your straight line. You might have to move in and move out frequently.
- Lastly, Captain Price will pull up alongside you. Take your vehicle to his left and press A to get on the roof and then jump onto his truck.
