Minecraft Rascal Mob: Everything You Should Know About It

Published Date :

Minecraft mob vote is around the corner and Rascal is one of the candidates for it. Just like the last year, there are going to be three new mobs for you to choose from. One of the other known candidates is Sniffer and while we are yet to learn about the last one, Minecraft has revealed a few things about Rascal. So in this guide let us check who Rascal is in Minecraft and how you can vote for it.

Minecraft Rascal Explained

minecraft rascal mob explained

As mentioned previously, Rascal is one of the three candidates that can be the next mob in Minecraft. It will only be added to the game if the community decides to vote for it. As per the game’s description, Rascal is a mob “that loves to play Hide & Seek!”. This is because you have to try finding it two more times after you spot it the first time. When you find it the third time it will drop you a reward. So far the only reward known is Enchanted Pickaxe. But, the rewards it gives you will mostly be something that will help you with mining.

A good thing is that this is not a hostile mob but rather a playful one. So it helps by giving you hints to search it. And in order to come across one, you simply need to dig underground that is below Y=0. It doesn’t lurk very deep, so you shouldn’t go looking for it in the deep dark.

How to Bring Rascal to Minecraft

If you want Rascal to be the next mob in Minecraft you will have to vote for it. There are 3 places where you can choose to vote for it.

  • The special Bedrock server
  • In Minecraft launcher
  • At Minecraft.net

To be able to vote you will need a Microsoft account. The voting for new mobs will start on 14th October 2022 at noon EDT. Here are the different voting times:

  • CST – 11:00 AM
  • PST – 9:00 AM
  • United Kingdom – 5:00 PM
  • IST – 10:30 PM
  • JST – 2:00 AM

Once the voting begins you will have 24 hours to vote for your favorite mob.

That covers this guide on what Rascal is in Minecraft and how to bring it to the game. I suggest you check out our Minecraft guides to learn about other things in this game.
