How to Get a Raptor Pet in Grow a Garden
A Raptor is obtainable through a Dinosaur egg or the DNA converter. While the chances of getting it from the converter are unknown, you have a 35% chance of obtaining it from a Dino Egg. You can get this egg by exchanging a pet at this location in the center of the map, and after waiting 4 hours and 10 minutes, you can hatch it to see what’s inside.
Aside from the Raptor, the other possible dinosaurs are Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl, Brontosaurus, and the T-Rex.
Visually, it looks quite similar to the T-Rex but differs in the shade of green and some more differences like teeth, the color of the claws, and tail length.
Once you have it equipped and applied to your garden, the Legendary Raptor will use two passives:
Clever Claws: There’s a 2 to 2.5% chance that any fruit will get the Amber mutation after collecting. As usual, rarer plants have a lesser chance to mutate.
Raptor Dance: This ability provides an addition 14-14.5% increase to player movement speed, so if you were frustrated while walking to the Gear shop each time, this should make the process less annoying. It has a hunger of 40,000 so keep feeding it to age it up. Interestingly, when you hold a Raptor, your character will hold it above their head with both hands, instead of having the usual one-handed hold.
