In Grow a Garden, the Rake is a Mythical gear item introduced during the Fall Market event and is available for a limited time. This might remind you of other helpful tools like the Trowel, Recall Wrench, and the Harvest tool, but it isn’t as useful as they are. Visually, it looks like a real-world Rake, but its use is quite silly. Here’s what this tool does and whether it is worth getting.
Grow a Garden Rake Guide
The Rake can be purchased from the Fall Gear shop for a high cost. You can buy it for 10,000,000 Sheckles or an alternative cost of 68 Robux. Once you get it, it can be placed on the ground – stepping on the metal prong side of a placed rake causes it to snap upward, flinging the player a little.
Note that if you want to complete the Fall Activity task that requires you to “Use 1 Rake”, you need to get another player to step on the metal side. It’s a single-use item, but it will also automatically disappear if it’s kept idle on the ground for some time.
Is the Rake Worth it?
If you’re planning to complete the Fall Activities task associated with the Rake, it has to be obtained (of course), but otherwise, since it has a high cost of 10M Sheckles, it can be skipped. Its in-game description says “Place down to do…what? I guess someone will find out soon!” and while players do have billions of Sheckles to spare, spending it on other valuable items will end up being more profitable in the long run.
