Recent Leaks Show Possible PS5 Hardware Specifications

New leaks about the PS5 reveal more information than ever before until now Sony had just claimed that they were working with Ryzen to have their 3000 processor clocked at 3.2GHz to be a part of the PS5.

Recent leaks point towards more complete specifications of the PS5 which will have a ton of upgrades over the PS4 and the PS4 Pro. To begin with, the HDD will be replaced with SSD which will enhance the load time it used to take for games.

Here is the list of all the rumored specs for the PS5

  • 8-core/16-thread Ryzen 3000 processor clocked at 3.2GHz.
  • The Radeon Navi-based GPU is said to have a total of 72 Compute Units
  • 16GB or 24GB of GDDR6 memory
  • 2 TB SSD
  • 120Hz output at 4K for games
  • 8K resolutions

This will be a substantial jump from the current generation consoles and this hardware will help developers push the envelope to design and produce games as we’ve never seen before.

There is also going to be a heavy focus on VR, which will let the players immerse themselves into the game completely as if they are actually inside the game world.

This is just leaks and nothing is confirmed by Sony so it is best to take this news with a pinch of salt as the release date for the next-gen console gets nearer we will probably get more information about it.

We will keep updating this topic as and when we have more information.
