While Sony isn’t revealing much about thier upcoming console, the PlayStation 5, Santa Monica Studios are confident that the Sony console will easily beat the Xbox Series X. This news comes via a job listing posted by Santa Monica Studios, who last worked on God of War for the PlayStation 4.
This news was first broken by jackofallcontrollers.com, this news states that while Santa Monica Studios are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineering Manager they have listed the job responsibilities and there is a line which says that they are looking forward to releasing the world’s fastest console in 2020.
While the hardware specifications of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X have been revealed, it is rumored that Sony will have 13.3 teraflops of GPU power outperforming anything we’ve seen on the console market.
There are rumors that Sony and Microsoft both will release higher performance version of consoles along with the regular ones, this has the potential to tip the balance in their favor.
While the world has been under quarantine due to the covid-19 outbreak, the console wars is just beginning to heat up. As the time comes near to the release of these consoles we’re certain that we’ll see more information being linked.
