How to Fix PS4 VR Controller

If either one or both of your PS4 Move controllers are not working, it can be a frustrating experience. Your Move controllers are more or less a part of every VR game that you play. To get them up and running, try these solutions to fix your PS Move controller not working:

Check your PlayStation Camera’s Connection

If you aren’t already aware, the Move controllers will only work if the PlayStation Camera is connected to your PS4. Try disconnecting the cable and putting it back again. Also, ensure that the PlayStation Camera is facing you so that it can recognize your Move controllers. If you met the above requirements, then check our next fix.

Charge your PS VR Controller

Sometimes, the reason for non-working controllers can be a dead battery. Turn your PS4 on and plug the USB cable into your VR controller. Keep it on charge for a few hours. You can also do this while putting your PS4 on rest mode. If it still doesn’t turn on, check the next solution.

Reset your PS VR Controller

This is the third and final solution for your PS4 VR controller not working. For this, you will have to reset your Move controller. You can do this by inserting a pin or a paper clip in the small reset button on the back of the controller. Just press and hold for a few seconds before you release.
