Following yesterday’s advance notice, IO Interactive has announced the studio’s new game. A short teaser trailer has been released, which makes it clear that you can slip into the role of James Bond in the foreseeable future. The new game is called Project 007, which is initially the working title.
Many details are not yet available. A teaser page also opened today states that Project 007 is a brand new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IO Interactive.
The creators also write the following: “Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world’s favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond original story.”
IO Interactive is currently recruiting people from all over the world to join the team. This suggests that development is at a very early stage.
First of all, the launch of Hitman 3 is imminent, as the title will be released on January 20, 2021, for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. As already confirmed in the official announcement, in addition to new areas, all game sections of the two predecessors will be included. Virtual reality headsets are supported on PC and PlayStation 4.
