The PlayStation 5 trophies will allow not only to unlock appropriate achievements, but also to earn various in-game rewards, according to the report.
New information is coming soon regarding the dashboard and the new PlayStation 5 game interface. In the past few hours Tidux, through a post on his Twitter account, has released more details on the innovative rewards system introduced in the next-gen console of Sony.
The PlayStation 5 trophies will not just unlock an appropriate achievement to add to the list, but will allow players to earn various types of in-game rewards. Check the details given by the well-known insider below:
Trophies can reward you in-game, and we saw it when we saw the UI. When a player hovers over one “activity card” we can see the remaining estimate time, when the player hovers over a “trophy card” the player can see what in-game reward the trophy will unlock.
As for Destruction AllStars you can see that the reward is a Profile Banner and Profile Avatar for earning the trophies. The new trophy system feel a bit like the Uplay reward system, in the way that you actually get a reward in-game for earning trophies/achievements.
Earning a profile banner and an avatar is just one example. completing this trophy give you X Gems / Y EXP or this item, we will se a lot of different possibilities when it launches.
Waiting to find out more details on the new generation console of the Japanese giant and on the new game interface, we remind you that PlayStation 5 will be available for purchase on November 12, 2020, at a price of $499 (PS5 “Standard Edition”) and $399 for PS5 Digital Edition).
