How To Get MLB The Show On PC

Published Date :

Similar to its predecessors, MLB The Show 23 was released on every other console platform and not on PC. Many players are trying to find a way out to play the game on their Windows devices. And if you are one of them, then fortunately you will be able to do just that. Along with all the console releases, the recent installment in the Major League Baseball franchise also came on the Xbox Cloud Gaming Service.

Instead of having a traditional PC port, San Diego Studio and Sony Interactive, the developers behind MLB The Show 23, made the game available for PC players with the help of the Cloud Gaming Service. Since none of its predecessors had a full PC release, this might just be the only way you would get closer to living your baseball dream. So if you are looking to play the game on your Windows device, then this a guide you should check out further.

To play MLB The Show on PC, players will need to first subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The subscription is required to access cloud gaming on Xbox. It costs around $16.99 per month to subscribe to the Game Pass Ultimate.

Along with it, we would suggest that you have a good internet connection as cloud gaming services can cause errors on unstable ones. With that being said, here are the steps you can follow to play the game on the cloud gaming service:

  • You will need to first download the Xbox App on your Windows PC.
  • Once done, simply install it and sign in with your account.
  • Launch the app and on the sidebar, you will find the Cloud Gaming tab.
  • Select the tab and search for MLB The Show on the app.
  • Once done, you will be able to play the game on your Windows PC.

Since it’s not a full PC Port, there will be lag and stuttering while playing MLB The Show 23. Not to mention, having a good internet connection is a must to have a proper gameplay experience on the cloud gaming service.

Players will have to wait for the developers to come out with an official PC Port. However, since its predecessors too didn’t have an official port, don’t be shocked if the developers decide to stay with the Xbox cloud gaming for MLB The Show 23.

That’s everything covered in this guide. For more interesting guides like these, check out our dedicated MLB The Show 23 Guides section, right here on Gamer Tweak.
