However, to pluck and carry these plants and fruits from where they are found to your Pikmin base, you will require many Pikmin. In this guide, we will walk you through how to get more Pikmin in Pikmin 3 deluxe.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe: How to Get More Pikmin

All you need to do is pluck some items such as plants and bring them to the base to get more Pikmin in Pikmin 3 deluxe. The items that I am talking about will have a number specified on them. This number is the amount of Pikmin required to carry them back to your base.

Now, you need to press the ZR button to lock Pikmin on a plant, and then press A to throw the Pikmin and start the process of carrying them back to the Onion base. Now, when the item reaches the base, there will two Pikmin available to pluck from the ground (similar to the plants).

What you need to do next is press the A button, and this will begin the plucking process to get you more Pikmin in Pikmin 3. The plucking will stop when there is no Pikmin left to pluck or when you press the B button.

You can check the number of Pikmin you have by looking in the bottom-right corner. The number on the right side will show the total amount of Pikmin you have, and the number to its left will show the amount of Pikmin currently following you.

You can only take a maximum of 100 Pikmin along with you. If the number goes beyond, only 100 will follow you and the rest will remain in the Onion base. That’s everything you need to know about how to get more Pikmin in Pikmin 3 deluxe.
